A profile contains different fields to define the scope of your study.

1. List of profiles
 
You can have several different profiles.
 
You can switch between your profiles by selecting another in the select box.
 
On the selected profile, you can :
 
- Edit : to rename it,
 
- Copy : to create a new profile from the current one,
 
- Delete : to delete it,
 
- Reset :  to return to the default profile with no configuration.

References are composed of :
 
- a product ( the one you want to focus on )
 
- a ghost product ( can be use as a project product to estimate his ranking )
 
- an aggregated part property
 
- a bookmarks tree.
 
Whenever you change any of these references have to "Apply changes".

Products population filters

Click on "Products filters", a filter dialog will appear to apply filters on products to reduce the population.
 
The number of applied filters is display in the top right corner of the section.
 
Information : Products And Parts filters do not apply on ghost/product from your setup references, they will still be part of the population.

Parts population filters

 
4. Parts population filters    
 
Click the icon filter on a row, a filter dialog will appear to apply filters on parts to adjust the population.
 
The number of applied filters is display in the top right corner of the section, and also detailed on each parts.
 
Information : Parts filters can only be applied on a real teardown hierarchy part and not to a user defined bookmark.
 
Important : Parts filters cancel products filters on the current level, so they may be more but also less restrictive than products filters.
 
Warning : Parts filters only apply on the level where they are defined, they are not inherited on sublevels.
